“Do you have any Christmas traditions, George?”
George shrugged in response to Izzie’s question. “Personally? No. My family does have quite a few, though.”
“We should make our own traditions.”
George rolled his eyes. “Why?”
“Why not?” Izzie pulled herself into a sitting position, moving her head just in time to avoid the Christmas streamers hanging above her.
“Because traditions are pointless. It’s the act of doing something again and again just because you’ve done it before.”
“So?”
“So that’s not enough for me.”
Izzie snorted. “Right, because doing things because you feel like it always works out for everyone.”
