Sasuke winced and managed to keep down a grunt as Sakura pulled the next senbon from his neck, her movements careful and gentle but the process still agonizing.
He partly wished that Kakashi had opted to do this; at least he would have been quiet. "I'm sorry, Sasuke-kun," Sakura said quickly, not for the first time. "I shouldn't move so fast - oh, sorry - " Her mouth formed an O in surprise as Sasuke suddenly caught her wrist and held it.
"Sakura. You're fine. Just... be quiet." His voice was low but resolute, solid but said as more of a request.
