Help Iraqi Artist Get On His Feet In Portland

So a friend of mine helps out with this local refugee agency here in Portland. She posted this article to Facebook this morning, asking if anybody's got any art supplies they aren't using.
And I thought, HEY I AM GOING TO AN ART CONVENTION IN LIKE 16 HOURS, MAYBE MY FRIENDS CAN HELP OUT WITH THIS.
So if anybody's got some art supplies just sitting around unused, I will be taking donations for this gentleman at my table at FurCon this year. Not monetary donations, no: paper, pencils, ink, paints, anything else that counts as an art supply. I will meet up with my friend M who posted about this when I get back from the con, and I think it'd be really cool to have a box full of stuff for this guy to use. :D What do y'all think?
