Yeah i should be working on a take home test right now.
Yeah, I just signed off of aim and got onto another distraction; livejournal.
yeah, i dont have shit done on my test and really need to get started. NOW.
but i dont really care.
Lately it seems like no one will really let me dabble into and help them with their problems. i feel like im casted off as a kid or something, someone who has no idea how to deal with "grown up problems". I may not be able to say too much about the situation but i feel like i should at least be privelaged enough to hear and talk about my best friends' problems. I feel like a goddamn toddler sometimes.
in the fraternal world, we initiated 20 new members in my chapter and i was just elected IFC executive committee secretary. IFC means Interfraternity council and its the schools lame attempt at trying to have a governing body over our greek system. We dont do shit. I take notes and print agendas about the non-issues brought up in our executive meeting. I have to show a non-biased viewpoint when dealing with greek problems and probably fuck my own fraternity over on occasion. When people ask what was decided three weeks ago about whether we should change the IFC logo from white to off-white, I tell them. Im pretty pointless, and the 50 dollars that I was given for copies was probably a waste of taxpayer and student money.
but damn does it look good on a resume.
I got fired from cone center again. For some reason they look down on people who miss shifts. Who knew.
someone should pay me to party a lot and play foosball, please. Im pretty good at both and have great people skills. My only setback is I am prone to offend people and my precense tends to cause discomfort in the elderly.
My plan right now is to work my way up in IFC to a position that i can affect real change. the greek system at UNC-Charlotte is about to be an alumni supported powerhouse of jocks, partiers, sluts, cheaters, over-achievers, nerds, models, good girls, muscians, potheads, alcoholics, christians, actors, bad dancers, sex offenders, bolemics, pill poppers, and one albino guy. And Im gonna be in control of it.
