Title: Crocodile Smile

Notes: This was a drabble request by ladyamberjo, where I was given a pairing and prompt, and had to write something in under ten lines. This one has seven, and the prompt was...well.
Warnings: Mild vore.
There had to be some god specifically trying to make her claustrophobic. It was the only explanation for how, in the space of a few months, she had gone from a life of Cosmopolitans on the beach and ordinary card duels, to being trapped in her own nightmare and freed only to be swallowed up by an over-sized alligator.
A few hours ago she had been this close to Jounouchi, trailing a lacquered fingernail against his cheek in a playful taunt. A few hours ago, he had been moments from finally kissing her, like she had always known he wanted to, even when they had been bickering at each other over a dueling arena.
Just before the blackness fully took them both, she thought to herself that they were going to be one in this, at least, torn apart by acid and melded together as mere chemicals. Which was disgusting, but something he might have found victory in at least. Even this beast couldn't keep them apart entirely.
