Time is a valuble thing - watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.

Weird day today.
Volunteered some more at Jake's Basketball tournament...I've got eight hours already, which makes me pretty happy.  Saves me work in the future.  And really, if I'm going to be volunteering, this is the way to do it - all I've really got to do is stamp people's hands.  And maybe make change, every once in a while, if the person helping me slacks off.  :P
Ha, slacks off.  They're probably doing more work than I am.
Chantelle was at the bball tourney today, which was nice.  Her brother was working too.  I only had to work two hours today - so I spent the remaining two hours I wasn't working with her.  Much fun.  Chantelle's great. :)  We chatted, watched basketball, ate candy, and roamed around the gym areas, admiring our school's little collection of trophies and the advertisement windows for the various sports offered.  She pointed out people we knew on the cross country team window; I somewhat listened and snuck side glances at the guys tennis window, because, you know.  Who doesn't love tennis, right? Right?  Pictures. (Okay, Sydney, stop.  Stop creeping.  That's not healthy.  Badddd habit.)
The girls swimming window is completely empty.  Go figure.  We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you?  Uh, not much, apparently, seeing as we don't have enough time to even put an information bullitton in our window.  We have a blank slab of cardboard, and a little white sheet of paper that says "GIRLS SWIMMING".  I blame Alyssa for this lack of swim-team-advertising.  No, just kidding, I don't lol.  It's as much my fault than as it is hers.  So I blame...someone else.  Bayport, actually.  Because when it comes to swimming, they are the source of all the world's problems, seeing as they always beat us.
Ohhhh not nice.

There was this guy at the tournament who kept creeping on Chantelle and I.  He was like, around our age, I guess...and he kept following us places.  He would throw rubber bands at me.  And at one point, when we were sitting on the bleachers discussing how WildBerry flavored Skittles taste a lot like medicine, he randomly walked by and dropped a scrap of neon yellow paper at my foot, which read "txt me", and a number.
Classy.  Very classy.  No desperation there.
It was somewhere between creepy and funny.  Like, we kept laughing, but...I had a creeper alarm...dude, it so would have gone off there.  Just saying.
Okay, I should really stop - I am in no position whatsoever to call people "creepy", even if that's how it was.  Hypocritical.
It was...weird.  Very weird.  I don't even know.  Thankfully, he lives in Manitowoc, so we probably wont ever see him again.
Bizarre.

Otherwise?  Um...I came home, and did homework, in the form of drawing a political cartoon to illustrate "autocracies".  Political cartoons take a lot more thought that I assumed they would.  Ugh.
That's done though. :)

Is it weird that I'm almost excited for school tomorrow?
Yeah, probably.
