WATCH AS MY LAYOUT DOESN'T CAPITALIZE ANY OF THIS
I'm not going to be around much this week...Just saying. For those who are curious. I know, that's a great way to start off an entry, BUT...whatever. I'm not feeling overly introduction-creative at the moment, so you can just cope.
I spent pretty much all of this weekend taking care of my Grandpa and my brother, while my parents and Grandma went to a funeral in Virginia. It was...well, pretty boring to be honest. It's not that I mind taking care of Grandpa, but I sort of spent four days sitting around doing nothing, watching TV. Which wasn't much fun, because day time TV at my grandparents' pretty much sucks.
I sprained my ankle. That's why I was on the couch so much; I couldn't walk. Not. Fun.
I sprained my ankle falling down the stairs that lead into our garage - there's like, three of them. And I tripped and landed weird. (This is a perfect example of why it's so sickly ironic that my middle name is Grace.) It hurt. A lot.
Unfortunately, I spent the rest of that day hiking around Sturgeon Bay with my uncle, who was supposed to entertain my grandpa and I for the afternoon. I think it was supposed to be some sort of "family bonding" thing...I dunno. I could barely walk after an hour. My grandpa loaned me his cane at some point - it was that bad. We got back to the house, and I spent the rest of the night watching crappy soap-operas and taking Ibuprofen until I fell asleep.
I'm better now though. ^_^ No longer hobbling.
But yeah...
Tomorrow? Not a ton going on. I think I'm scheduled to hang out with my other uncle...he's my godfather, and up to visit from AZ. I believe we're going shopping. Jake gets to be dragged along. He'll just love that...lol.
But we'll probably get to go to his train store that he loves so much, so he should be okay.
(My brother has a thing with model trains. He's 10. Give him a break.)
And other then that...not much.
