It snowed yesterday.
In April. It snowed. In April. This is so wrong, on so many levels, I don't even know what to do with myself. There will be snow on Easter. This deeply disturbs me.
So, because of all this snow, there's a two hour delay today. They posted this at 5:29 AM this morning.
Yeah, I checked at 5:23. lol. That is so ironic. So sickly ironic. I didn't get to sleep in today. Tears. But whatever; we have Friday off, so I'll just sleep then. Woke up, got ready like usual...my hair is actually cooperating really nicely at the moment, just saying. I mean, it's not like I really did anything different with it today, but...you know. It's all good.
I'd rather have a delay than a snow day though. Snow days in April are just tragic. Plus we've got to make them up at the end of the year anyway, so it's really not even that much of a day off.
I hope Glee recorded...
In other news, the first practice of Spring Session swim was yesterday. Felt good to be back in the water again... :D And practice was really easy (naturally; Teri is pretty easy on us for about the first month, while we're all getting in shape) - the whole thing was pretty much various combinations of drills. I like that. And since I managed to stay in shape during the break/"off season" (a 2 month off season, lol), everything went really well. It was like I never stopped swimming, which is a really, really good thing.
I think we should all stop for ten seconds to congratulate Mason on his tennis victories two days ago. So proud. ^_^
Just saying. Congrats, man. :)
Everyone, clap.
First hour would be starting right now, normally. I would be sitting in "Civics". Mrs. Litt would be asking us if we have any exciting stories to share with her before we "jump right back in" to the Executive Branch, and the whole class would be sitting there, mute, because my first hour is pretty much always dead silent, which for some reason bothers Mrs. Litt tremendously. Once, she threatened to make us all do calisthenics unless we perked up.
We got more talkative after that.
Then, unless Daria had a story to share (because Daria usually does have a story to share), we would "jump right back in" to the day's lesson plan, which would probably consist of lots of notes and questions on our opinions about the Electoral College.
Oooooh, goody.
Art, I'll be painting and sitting through much secretly force-awkward laughter. Geometry, we'll take notes, then get homework time (Geometry literally goes the same way every day lol). French, we'll start with learning some verbs, but then one of the 3's will say something random, launching our teacher into a long (and hopefully interesting) lecture on life lessons. This will go on for a good fifteen, twenty minutes, and then she'll look at the clock, and go "Oh goodness we just wasted twenty minutes let's get back to French!" and we'll go back to our verbs and listen to a song about vegetables and maybe read more of that lovely story about Gaston, le ver de terre. I'll walk to lunch, which will be wonderful. I'll find Jessica after, and we'll find everyone else, move someone else's stuff so there's room, drag a chair over, put our stuff down, and then we'll go get food. We'll come back. We'll eat. Be social. Then I will leave and walk to sixth hour~~~, and Haley might join me for the first half, but whatever. Best walk of the day~ Then, science, maybe we'll do another lab, and it will probably take a long time and Gabi and I will be stuck doing something completely fascinating, like watching alcohol evaporate (Monday). :| Then, language will be great. Health will be depressingly interesting, and we'll talk more about drugs, and hopefully, half the class will show up. (Poor Mr. Bobholz. :\ )
Then, I'll get home at about 3:30. I'll eat something. Do homework, chill with Eddie, and listen to whatever music happens to strike my fancy. Hopefully that won't take too long... Then, everyone else will arrive home, and we'll eat dinner really quickly. I'll go to swim at 6. Come home at about 8:30. Hang out for an hour or so, then go to bed. Then wake up at 5:23 the next day repeat the whole thing!
How exciting.
Tomorrow, I have a haircut though. So my routine might have to be modified. No swim lol. But that's okay. I'm looking forward to it. :P
