Way to go, Chloe! It's amazing how much people write off Dean as the 'brawn' of the group when ADD boy himself built the EMF detector out of a walkman. Oh, Dean. *sigh*

Even the demons tend to think of sam as the brains of the group. But Dean is smart, he will do his own research, and he knows that you can use a computer to do more than look up p0rn on the internet.

But I think his line of thinking usually runs like this: "That's what sam is for (research and stuff, not porn on the internet. Although I think the wincesters would disagree with me ;)."

I've touched on this a few times throughout this series. Dean is just as smart as Sam. He simply chooses to apply himself in different areas.
