I'm the second generation of all girls. Which is interesting, because I think that with no boys around, girls go all tomboy. (I had a step-brother who was six when I was sixteen, and he got his fair share of being tied to chairs and locked in closets.)

And daddies tend to learn a whole new skill set. Like how to braid hair, and cook french toast.

At least my dad did.

By contrast, my husband was the third in an all-boy family. With a mom who was from an all-girl family.

So when I met his mom, she hugged me and said "You're going to be the little girl I never had." Which was awsome. Especially considering that she had to deal with three kids who liked to blow things up.

heheh... i LOL'd!

my husband hasn't done the braiding thing yet, but i think he does know how to make french toast. ;)

my dad has a sister, my mom has a brother, i have two younger brothers. hubby's dad has a brother and a sister, mom has a brother, half-brother and two half-sisters (one died though :S ). hubby also has an older brother and older sister (the sister is the oldest).

so we have a pretty good mix there.
