Gearing up for Nanowrimo

I'm looking for my old notes from when I wrote my first novel, Tranquility.  I can't seem to find them anywhere.  I have the rough draft, and even a chapter-by-chapter second draft.

But the original outline, the character synopsys and the pitch-letter seem to be gone with the wind.    Which is a pity, because that was what sold my editor on the story, and kept me on track for the three friggin years it took me to write it.

On an interesting side note, The story punched in at about 41,000 words.  I'll have to do better than that for Nanowrimo.

But I did pull a couple of old flash fics out of the trunk to re-read.  I've posted one to my f-list.  Sorry to say, since it's an under-contract original fic that is posted in it's entirety, you'll have to frend me to read it.

thoughts, nanowrimo
