I swear - every question or conversation I think about in this fic you manage to answer and fit into the overall storyline. Psychic! :P

Yay for the Sam and Chloe conversations - I love my Chlean, but I love these two as friends, you know? They have wonderful conversations in your fic - tease out a lot of issues they've got and support each other, and Dean. Do you think Sam feels a little bit jealous of the relationship that Chloe and Dean have - or he feels that his brother deserves it for once, and he had some time with Jess he ought to cherish. But Chloe's doing a great job with the whole three-people-team dynamic. :)

Love the idea of Chloe teaching Sam how to use his powers properly - "Thank you, Master Po." LOL!!

Okay - I'm going to go and sulk that I still have to wait until Monday til I can watch The Magnificent Seven...

Thank you! I don't like to leave loose plot threads dangling. So about the time you're thinking "What ever happened to . . ." I'm probably thinking "Well, crap. I can't leave X out there. I've got to write that into the fic too. Now my story is going to be longer! Woe! Angst!"

I swear, Clarksmuse Is probably ready to smack me over the agonizing :()

Like all people, Sam has a confusing tangle of emotions. He's overwhelmingly happy for Dean and Chloe, and yet prone toward feeling left out/like a third wheel. He has a touch of jealousy that he mostly hides at having to share his brother with his best friend, and vice versa, and maybe, way down deep, a smidge of resentment for the same reasons.

That's our emo kid. One big seething ball of conflicted emotions. ;)

I always loved Sam because he was so beautifully conflicted. *huggles Sam, and then glares at pen37*
You better give him Jo back or something, because he seems so lonely...

I also really enjoy the Chlam friendship. And we definitely have similar views on how Chloe would help Sam learn to deal with his powers. ;) Looking forward to more! :D

Thanks! chloe is always right there with a boot to the head for her friends when they need it most. Too bad that her friends can't do the same for her on the show, given her current angst and avoidance of her own powers.

At least here, Sam and Dean are working on being the family and friends she deserves.

Oh Sammy. Awesome chapter! I love that Chloe is going to help Sam develop his powers, and really, he couldn't have a better coach. :D

Thanks! As long as he isn't sneezing barn doors off their hinges, I think they'll be okay.

About the barn door--wasn't it Lois who got almost squished? She was jogging, listening to her wee little MP3 player, and suddenly, "AH-CHOO!" "KA-BOOM!" right?

I was basing chloe's comment off of this scene.

Yes, I made that word up; I like it and I'm going to keep it.

*smirks* *blushes*

Thanks :)

Chlamminess . . . The state of being Chlam-y?

Does that mean the state of being Chlean is Chleanliness?

Hmm . . . is Chleanliness next to Godliness? Do scrubbing bubbles make it all Chleaner? If I work on this fic, can I tell my hubby that I spent the day Chleaning?

the mind boggles!

No, No, allow me to explain katelennon October 11 2007, 19:05:45 UTC
Chlam (noun): The altogether squee-worthy sentiment evoked when Pen37's Special Projects!Sam and Special Projects!Chloe has a dialogue that involves an understanding of both Sam and Dean's familial bond, Chloe and Dean's blossoming affection AND the friendship between Sam and Chloe.

All things flow from this definition.

As for the Chleaning; Pen, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "I kinda love you, in a totally ficwhore/ficsupplier kinda way." We need to have a Mr. & Mrs. Chlean icon made. Who can we bribe/coherce to do such a thing?

LOL! Just don't let Dean be seen with a shaved head and earring. O.o He's Mr. Chlean, but not Mr. Clean. As Sam and the socks in the sink can attest to.

I step away from my computer for a couple of days and BOOM 3 parts of an awesome story! I, as usual, love it.

LOL! Well, I try to update every day, whenever possible. That may slow down a bit in November, when I participated in NaNoWriMo, but hopefully not. :)
