Timestamp Meme -- St. Peter Never Mentioned This ... one hour later
Almost a month ago, I posted a timestamp meme.
all_you_wantedrequested that I write what happened an hour after St. Peter Never Mentioned This. with the Season Premere of Smallville happening tonight, I thougth that I had better get off my duff and post this.
This short fic is Unbeta'd.
In preparation for tonight's season premere of Smallville. Possibly the last season. This one is so going to suck for Chloe and Chloe fans. :P
St. Peter Never Mentioned This . . . One Hour Later.

The mood around the bar was sombre as Chloe, John and Ash sat staring into their drinks. At some point, John had talked them into playing quarters. But it wasn't much of a challenge. John was a hunter, and Chloe had been practicing up on her hand-eye coordination since becoming Watchtower.
“So . . . healing tears?”
She nodded. “Sucks to be me.”
“At least you get a free pass back.” John said. Ash grunted in agreement.
“So I can watch my cousin snake my dream job, while my best friend hooks up with a girl who is all wrong for him, and his cousin snakes my boyfriend?”
“Sucks to be you,” Ash agreed.
“So . . .” John scratched his head. “You could hook up with Dean.”
“Yeah,” Chloe shook her head. “I hear that he's doing a lot of that.”
“Look on the bright side, Chloe,” John said. “You live in the most dangerous little town in the world. Maybe in a year or two, you'll kick the bucket again.”
“Maybe,” Chloe sighed. She sat up, as if hearing some kind of call from a distance. “I guess that's my cue.”
“See you around, kid.” John said as she did that glowy thing, and faded out.
“So now what do you want to do?” Ash asked.
John shrugged.
“Hey!” Ash grinned suddenly. “Let's find one of those Petrelli kids and kick the crap out of them.”
“Which one?” John asked.
“Does it matter?” Ash shrugged. “Sooner or later, everyone's a Petrelli.”
“No kidding?” John asked as he got up from his chair. “That would explain Sam. Mary's maiden name was Petrelli.”
