LOL! I've got a theory that Chloe has a secret geek fetish. For how Dean would look in a Jimmy Olsen outfit, just look at him in Dark Angel. His character went undercover as a music professor, and did look like a dork.

There is a scene in my head that will never get written. In it, Dean and Chloe agree to role playing. She'll wear the Slave Leia costume, if he'll wear the bow tie (and here I almost typed boy toy) ;)

And Sam is good for Jo. He helps bring out her softer side.

Um - as usual, Dean and Chloe snark/innuendo/whatever (kiss!!) was wonderful.
Though can I point out that, shy though I am, Dean Winchester would NOT charm me! *nods sternly*
He's too damn arrogant for his own good ;P - I did feel waay sorry for Dinah though.

Oh, and can you please tell me that there are NOT places in America where you can fire toothpicks at the ceiling? Because... well, opinion of the States is rapidly declining. Though I liked the fact that Chloe was able to pick him up on his punctuation. :P

LOL! Glad that you enjoyed reading about Sam and Jo. I didn't originally plan on that, but then my muse suggested it, and Angie said I should listen to my muse. I think it turned out well. *waves to angie*

Dean is arrogant. That's why he needs Chloe around to take him down a peg or two.

A lot of places in the fic are real places. The teepee hotel in Holbrook and both the Rendevious and Huey's are actual spots. The river boat museum in Kansas city is a real museum (although it was never haunted). The Memphis pyramid is an arena right on the river, It looks like a big glass pyramid. The memphis belle is the actual plane that the movie was based on. They keep it in a pavillion out by the river. both are in site of I-40 where it crosses the Mississippi.

And yes, patrons can fire toothpicks into the ceiling at hueys. They can also leave grafitti on the back wall. At the end of every year, they take the toothpicks out, and there is a charity contest to guess the number of toothpicks.

And they have a decent burger.

It's... original. I'll give it that. Though, as a accidental recipient of too-many spitballs in the past (you would THINK private school girls were more mature. And had better aim!), I worry for the poor patrons that will be accidentally hit. ;P
But I know what you mean about cool, random places in the middle of nowhere having their own little charm. :P

One thing I enjoy anywhere I go is finding local color. I always got a kick out of some of the random places that Sam and Dean end up. so this has been a lot of fun.

Squee! Action for both brothers. I always liked the idea of Jo and Sam together more than Jo and Dean. The Chloe/Dean kiss was hot. Can't wait for more of this series.

Really, she hasn't. Chloe has such a geek fetish. You just know she was dressing Dean up that way just to see how he looked. And in her mind she was probably going Mmmmmmm hm.

I don't know why I never seriously contemplated Sam and Jo as a couple, but the idea of them being sweet on each other is actually really cute :)

Also, we need more reasons to get Dean to dress up even though the man in sexy, no matter what he's wearing. I'm thinking sexy construction worker...or wait, as firefighter - something that will get him dirty! Lol. I'm having too much fun with my mental Dean paperdoll, I should stop.

Tangent aside, great chapter in the series.
