I watched Transformers 2 last night.
It was worth seeing in the theatre for the robot fu. But the plot was kind of Meh. Actually, it was just as if I was watching a live action version of one of the old cartoon episodes. The plot was no more complex than that. Fans of the cartoon will like it. Critics will not.
Shia LeBouf showed some acting range, in that he portrayed the character as a little more confident this time around, while still managing to be a spaz once he's away at college and in unfamilliar territory. Megan Fox had great boots that I want. There were some funny moments, but the plot wasn't as good as Star-Trek. And I had a surreal moment when General Motors was thanked in the credits.
