I think the cleanse turned me into a giant bug. Any day now, I'm going to wake up on my back and not be able to flip over onto my feet so that I can go answer the door.
April fools joke (and backhanded Kafka reference) out of the way, I'm on day 5, and phasing meat and dairy back into my diet.
Breakfast today: yogurt with active cultures to help rebuild the beneficial bacteria in my GI tract, and 2 eggs. Lunch will be chicken breast with sauce made from mushroom soup, a side of veggies and a wheat roll.
I've had someone ask whether I would reccomend the cleanse. The short answer is that it's too soon to tell. I'm still in the assessment period. So far, I haven't been too impressed with it, but that may be because of all the squeeful pie-in-the sky promises that Cleanse disciples seemed to make.
Allergies? Nope. Still have them. Engergy? Not boosted in any significant way. Although I have been less prone to mouth ulcers, and toxins do seem to purge more efficiently. I haven't assessed my weight. My husband did gain about half of his back, although that half seems to be muscle mass rather than fat.
I would consider doing a cleanse again. But if I do, It will probably be a shorter, five day cleanse plus ease in out. Because I'm not sure I want to devote another half month to this.
