I wonder about the structural integrity of the house though, what Andy and Ava will be doing at home without Chloe (polishing their late-night talk show routine?), how long their permanent address will really be theirs once repairs begin and people start asking questions, what's going to happen when the inherent Whackiness-Follows-Slayers Magnet activates?... And when are we going to get more Spike? Plus, when will the boys eventually cross paths with Chloe/Anne again?
Did I mention how much I'm digging the developments of this chapter? 'Cause I totally and completely am. :)

As for your questions . . . That's fodder for future updates. XD

I'm really enjoying the three of them together. So much so that I don't mind Sam and Dean not being there with Chloe. I actually forgot about them a little while reading my Chloe, Andy, and Ava! :/
The corner of Mr. Michaels' mouth turned up. “Wonderful. Your desk is in the northwest corner of this office. You'll check the police blotter every morning. Generate stories from that, and listen to the police scanner. Any in-depth piece you can come up with: run by me first. Otherwise, go crazy kid.”
This is like the best part...ever. I'm so happy that Chloe's back to reporting. I know people can change, their dreams can change...but personally I believe that journalism will always be a part of her.
Loved this update.

yes people's dreams change. Particularly when they make up their minds later in life, because they've invested less. But when they decide that they're going to be writers at age 6, and constently chase that goal for the next 17 years . . . they don't just up and decide that they're going to chuck it all and never look back.
Talk about lightswitching.
