Last night my hubby brought me home a poster of a 67 Shelby mustang for the wall over my computer.  He *knows* I've wanted that car since I was 16.  There's one on the showroom floor of a classic auto dealership downtown.  I've made him stop by there once or twice so that I could press my nose to the window out front

I cracked up when I read that Kripke wanted to put the boys in a mustang. If it was the original 65, that's a pony car. The GT cobra it would be cool, but not really "I have a body or three in the trunk. Don't mess with me." The impala has a big block, and a big trunk. The GT mustang -- big block, not so much with the trunk space.

Must have been the 65. Once Shelby came on board, they developed the GT. What was so funny about that was that a lot of rental car companies bought the big block GT. Then all these kids like my dad with street rods would rent it, take the engine out, and replace it with a sissy engine. So for the cost of a rental, they got a new, big block engine for their street rods. :D
