Well, I have the last chapter of Special Projects.

Unfortunately, LJ isn't wanting to code it correctly.  I didn't have this problem last year.

Excuse me, LJ programmers?  Whatever you've done to "Improve" LJ since you bought it and moved to Russia?  It sucks.

For the record, LJ no likey Open Office, or Notebook.  However it does like Wordpad.

Is it posting straight into LJ's posting box, or via a client? I noticed a similar problem going from Googledocs straight to Semagic. I have to copy/paste into Word as text, then recopy from Word into Semagic as text.

*pokes LJ* All these "improvements" just suck.

I usually cut-and-paste. If I do so first to wordpad (not notebook) and then to LJ, then it cleans up the formatting. Of course, then I have to go back and re-italicize everything.
