Not so much afraid that she'd escaped as afraid that he'd given her enough time to escape and then plot creative revenge before getting away.

Because Dean's got a wild imagination when it comes to revenge scenareos.

This was hilarious, but I still think Dean deserves his two hours of yelling. Yes, she left for a great reason, but when you think someone you love is dead, you get to yell. That's just me. :)

More eventually. This is part of an ongoing saga spanning several universes and now two AU's. And in Chloe's defense, Dean never actually made any move to define to her what she was to him. they shared three months of anamosity, and one goodbye kiss. Yes, there were feelings all around, but it wasn't exactly Rick and Ilsa.

I your 'Casablanca' reference, and okay, Dean was dumb before and is still kinda dumb now, but that's why we love him.

I wouldn't say he's dumb. He just tends to bury his feelings. We've woven the Casablanca theme through the series a bit. I love playing with the theme of "as time goes by."

Maybe we should have named this series the Casablanca series. XD

Not only do I love the original AU but now I'm totally on board with the spinoff AU. Can't wait to see just how Chloe handles the damage control aspect of this situation. :)

She did call in methos. And I'm sure there was hijinks that would rival the best that Sydney Bristowe could offer.

Dean waited for the punchline. When none came, he started to realize that she was serious.

“Really?”

She raised an eyebrow - and suddenly, Dean realized that life just got a whole lot more interesting.
