I've done my civic duty.
Went in and voted early yesterday. I don't think anyone would be surprised who I voted for. (For the record, I don't think of myself as Republican. I think of myself as a fiscal conservative.)
That being said, I don't think it'll be the end of the world if Obama is elected. I haven't bought into the Republican negative attacks. I don't think that if he is elected, he would hand our country over to extremist terrorists the second he took office. And when I hear things like that, I usually roll my eyes.
I'll be glad when the election is over. Elections in general are like nationalized wank that we all like to watch in the same way we like to watch a good train wreck. It makes fannish crazy look like a ladies tea social.
