I suppose it's a testamant to Jensen's skill as an actor that I can look at the various parts he has played, and although they're all wearing his face, they don't really resemble one another, or him in any way.
Seriously, whenever I see pictures of Jensen on the set of Supernatural, and he's not in character, I think "Oh, there's Jensen in a Dean suit." When he's in character, it's like he's this coiled spring, wound so tightly. And then between takes, when he's out of character, he's just a hair more relaxed.
Same with the photo up there. He may look a little like Dean (if you could convince Dean to Ditch the stubble and put on a polo), but he's missing some inherent Dean'ness.
I've heard Jensen described as shy. Which is the whole introverted thing. And I'm glad that he takes his work as seriously as he does, because the man is *good* at what he does.
I would have loved to see more scenes of Chloe and Jason togeather, because I think Allison has that same acting talent and committment to craft as Jensen does (she's been studying acting since she was small.)
You could really tell the difference in Season 1 of Smallville. She and Michael Rosenbaum were the only two of the younger cast that were seasoned veterans, and their acting was at a higher level than the rest of the kids in the cast.
