So true - for all that Sam is pegged as the responsible one, Dean does a lot to protect him too.

So I grumbled a lot. And then I sucked it up, and wrote Dean's possession and torture from his point of view.

I'm so glad you did! Having them both broken and then having them fix each other works extremely well.

Because that's Dean. He even mentally self-destructs in a manly way.

And let me say that it's really hard to write these things delicately.

You do it very well!
