Well,
rekii's car broke down, which means I won't have a ride to
petie_s's wedding. DAMMIT!
My Wacom tablet has finally completely bit the dust. It's really weird. The computer recognizes it being plugged in. The light comes on. But for some reason it doesn't recognize the pen for some reason. It's really weird, and frikkin' frustrating. I can do all my editting with a mouse fortunately, it's just a pain in the ass to do it that way.
My interent connection also failed me last night. High Speed Internet, my ass. Fuck you, Time Warner Cable! If they don't fix this soon, I may start talking to ATnT about fiber optic.
On the bright side I did get some awesome new Transformers. It was another one of those Robot Heroes two packs. I was thinking of getting Cybertronian Movie Starscream, but I decided to go with the Robot Heroes two pack instead. 1) Because SD Transformers amuse the hell out me (they are so damn cute). 2) Target had them on sale. 3) Because it's SD figures of Optimus Prime with the Matrix and Unicron. Frikkin' Unicron! As an SD figure! The guy devours frikkin' planets, and now he's a little SD figure the size of Chibimus Prime (or so I call SD Prime). It's so frikkin' awesome! So you can expect photos from me soonish.
I need to get Chibi Grimlock, now. Chibi + Grimlock = Hilarity! Me, Grimlock, is not cute and small. Me, Grimlock, big and powerful! Me, Grimlock, will kick your little cute butts! Me, Grimlock, have problem with pronouns.
Oddly I feel more interested in collecting these non-transforming chibi Transformers than the movie ones... and I really like the movie ones, too. I guess SD Transformers is just that frikkin' funny to me. Granted it's nice to see even the SD Transformers fall into Takara/Hasbros cheap redecoing. SD Jazz comes with SD Thundercracker who is... GUESS WHAT... a repaint of SD Starscream. Surprise, surprise. I think they did the same thing with SD Bumblebee/Cliffjumper. Nice to know some things never change.
