Alright, I know I need to just move on, but I'm going to vent about this again, because hey, that's what LJ is for no?
Deciding to be somewhat impulsive, and ask someone out that I've only just gotten to know some, but was both quite cute, and very interesting, beyond which falling into many of the categories of things I think I'm looking for....
So, Thursday I finally get a chance to have the conversation, and I wasn't completely straight-forward about asking her out, so as to allow both her an out, and myself should it just prove awkward and not right down the road.
She's not dumb, she pretty much saw through it. And her comment was, "I'm not sure I'd be comfortable going on something that would feel so much like a date, since I have a BF..." (paraphrased)
WHAT? How exactly did I miss this important piece of information you might ask. (I'm not exactly in the habit of asking out people's GF's...)
When I first met her, she was single (~3-4 weeks ago). Apparently she had just broken up with her bf. And they got back together last saturday. Yep.
Why me?
That 0 for 2(3?) this month. And I'm _trying_ to be relaxed and conservative about this. I'm not really sure its working.
