I love how I got through all the bits with something resembling plot, and now that I've arrived at the part where I know what happens, I'm stuck. Gah!!!
The plan is to hammer out the rest of this thing tonight, send it off to gabolange for some much-needed beta magic, and maybe have it posted somewhere close to on time.
The writing mojo is still mostly on vacation. *grumbles*
And have I mentioned that the fic only barely fulfills the request and is entirely self-indulgent? I'm such a bad ficathon participant!
Oh!!! But other people are much better ficathon participants, and consequently I have a fic rec!!! Probably most of y'all who are likely to care have already seen rydra_wong's "Uncharted Death Trip" that she wrote for choc_fic, but if you haven't, run!!! Crais/Zhaan. Yes, really. The pairing works better than you'd think, and it's Rydra, so you know the writing is startling and beautiful. (Spoilers through the end of season 3.)
