This is too meta, even for me
So, catching up on Belle de Jour's blog, I come across this little tidbit:
It simply was torture in the end to be with someone who physically resembled the man I loved but fundamentally wasn't him (sorry, but I hated the ending of the last Doctor Who series, could not have accepted a fake Doctor at Bad Wolf Bay).
My little head is kind of exploding right now. Because Billie Piper plays (what I assume to be) a very fictionalized version of Belle de Jour on television, and here's the real Belle de Jour, whom I envision to look like Billie now, talking about how she didn't like the ending of a series that featured Billie Piper making out with David Tennant, who played two Doctors.
Just...gah.
On a related note, I'm re-reading Belle's first book, in preparation of series two. September 11th! So very close now!
