I'm sick.
Five people have quit DANY this month, either for the summer (fucking actors) or permanently. This is out of a staff of nine.
I came home tonight to an e-mail from one of the people remaining asking for coverage for Labor Day, which she promptly got. It looks like no matter what happens, I won't be able to go to Maine. Or leave town ever again, it feels like. I'll be chained to that desk for all of eternity.
I opened my electric bill to find an inexplicable charge of $203.67. My normal bill is about 20 bucks.
I just can't.
