guilt; because we're all human. beauty; inside and out. & love; for my family, my friends, for others like me who've lost a loved one to cancer, my faith in god, & love in general.
Soooo, what can I tell you about myself? For starters I should probably go over my habits because they'll show in my posts for sure.
I am a talker. This was a long time coming. I used to be very shy and insecure but when I discovered that people genuinely liked to listen to what I have to say...well. I haven't shut up since. You'll see - I can go on like the best of 'em. This mainly happens in my writings when I'm sticking up for someone or standing up for what I believe in.
I am an artist. My mother was a fantastic artist and teacher and I like to think that I take after her. I'm verrry right brained so you're going to get lots of colorful, out there, glitter filled, flufftastic posts. Deal.
I'm a plus size girl and I struggle with the territory that comes with it everyday. GBL originally started with my intention of having it be geared towards plus size girls and fashion. Well then I made friends on here that are thin, fit, fierce (as Tyra calls us) and struggle like me.
I quickly changed my motive for GBL, it is for everyone. :]
I am always inspired by anythings related to art. Music moves me deeply and can easily change my mood. I love words and lyrics and sometimes I wonder if I should just write lyrics for a living. I've got a TON of song ideas that actually have meaning and aren't about break ups and partying. Just saying.
Give me a gorgeous Monet any day. I love his work the best.
I love, love, LOVE writing. Every morning I get up and whip out a short story and every night before I go to bed I do the same thing. I love reading other people's work and collaborating. There's only one person who has read my short stories... my mom. (RIP mama. I love you.) I'll eventually find the right person to share them with.
Can you believe this started as a beauty and fashion blog? Well I think that's still its base, but this is definitely an inspiration blog and I'm sticking by that.
I so badly want to inspire people. That has always made me happy. Being someone's role model. Helping those who need a little extra love. Honestly, it doesn't take much. Hug someone. Tell a girl she's beautiful, because we all are. Smile at someone, I love it when people smile at me. Do things for others without expecting anything in return. Love.
This blog will truly be a success if I can: put a smile on your face, calm your heart, give you guidance, make you laugh, give you room to cry, and help you feel better about yourself. You are beautiful and you sure as Hell are loved.
'Guilty Beauty Love' is a total blast and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating it.

Most of the pictures I post are ‘reblogs’ and I’m pretty darn good about making sure there is a link back to the source or the blogger who first posted it.
Even if they are not ‘reblogs’ I will 99.9% of the time credit it. There have been occasions where I have not been able to track the artist down, and of course if the artist does not want their picture shared please let me know and I will gladly delete it or credit it you accordingly, whatever you choose.
The pictures that are mine, you’ll know and I do not mind if they are used, just remember to credit. :)
Hauls and Reviews:
I occasionally give reviews on beauty products, but none are given to me. I am not being paid to give my opinion. These are products that I buy with my own money and that I use regularly.
Fashion:
I am a plus size girl, but I love fashion in general so my fashion posts are for everyone. :)
Religion:
I am a Christian. I believe in God and value my faith. This shows in my blog. However, I do not and will not shove my beliefs in your face. I will share my thoughts and opinions, but I do not attack those whose beliefs differ from mine and I ask for the same in return. Peace, love, and respect guys.
Health:
I am a strong believer in being healthy. I am not a thinspo blog or a fitblr. I promote healthy eating and exercise. There are no triggers in my posts, but if there are ever in the future you can be sure I will always put up warnings in the header. I do not hate or judge anyone. We are all beautiful, no matter what shape, size, color, gender, orientation, etc that we may be. My blog is a safe place and I stand by that.
Grief:
My mom passed away in July 2008 and I will occasionally mention her from time to time. If you are going through the loss of a parent, or are going down that road right now please know that you can confide in me. Sometimes we need to vent to someone totally outside of our circle to talk to. Remember that you are not alone.

I do not own this song. It is called ‘Guilty Beauty Love’ by Vic Mignogna for the anime Ouran High School Host Club. I’ve loved that song forever and a half. It makes me feel so good and always puts a smile on my face. I wanted to share it with the world.
