i've had a lot of free time on my hands lately,i've been thinking about hiking most of the time...i have the urge to just go and do the appalachian trail (2000+ miles) and the long trail (275 miles)... both are very big hikes something i've never even attempted before. so i've been trying to make a compromise and i've run it by my parents a few

yea it's on my list of "things to do before i die" as well...i figure five to six months of hiking would allow you plenty of time to get to know yourself better before you fade to black...or whatever else happens, hehe

hehe, don't worry i'm not planning on doing it by myself...i'm prolly gonna ask a friend of mine but i've got to make sure my parents will actually let me do it first. haha, you're right though it would be very lonely otherwise...
