A week had passed since the shifter situation. Castiel’s bruises were gone and she didn’t bring it up. Dean took that as a positive. He was using Cas’ computer to do some research for their next case while Cas slept.
Cas definitely slept in some of the most painful looking positions Dean had ever seen. Her covers always ended up mostly, or completely, off the side of the bed while her arms reached above her head and her legs were twisted into odd shapes.

Dean was wondering how she could lay that way and not have her legs go numb when she started to wake up. Her left hand moved up to rub her eyes as she untangled her legs and stretched.
Dean had to look away as her back arched off the bed and she made a noise that affected Dean in a way that would be problematic. He looked back to see her rolling onto her stomach and pulling her pillow into a hug.

She laid her head on the pillow and looked at Dean with half closed eyes, red hair falling messily over half her face. God, she was beautiful. “Morning.” Her voice was raspy from sleep.

“Morning Cas.” Dean closed his browser and shut her computer. He hadn’t bothered asking to use it because Sam always kept his own close and Cas hadn’t had a problem with Dean using it. “You sleep good?”

Cas made a happy noise and nodded. “Yes.”

“No more nightmare?”

She shook her head. “Not much anymore.”

“How do you even sleep as much as you do? I mean, I’ve never known someone who sleeps so much.”

She smiled. “I enjoy sleeping, Dean. My dreams have gotten much better.”

“What are you dreaming about?”

“Heaven.” Cas smiled at the memory. She then felt a flare of sadness at the thought of maybe never being able to return there. “Who knows Dean? Maybe my dreams will be the only place I’ll get to see Heaven again.” She felt a sudden urge to cry welling up inside. She still had a problem keeping her emotions in check.

“Cas, are you kidding? You were an angel. How could you not go back to Heaven?”

“What I was doesn’t matter. It’s what I do in my human life that will determine my entrance to Heaven.” Cas felt the tears in her eyes now as her voice cracked. She buried her face in the pillow. She heard Dean stand and walk closer.

“What was Heaven like for you when you were and angel? Did you have your own or did you not mess with any of that?” Dean sat on Sam’s bed.

Cas lifted her head and thought back. “We didn’t have our own individual Heaven like humans did. We could go wherever we wanted. I did have one person’s Heaven that I favored, but we were free.”

“Well, when you do go back you’ll get your own private paradise.”

“That doesn’t sound better. It sounds lonely.”

Dean smiled. He had thought the same thing before he and Sam got to see it first hand. “Trust me, it’s not. Your Heaven will be filled with everybody that made you happiest. People who meant the most to you will be there forever.” Cas looked at Dean. “Besides, I bet some of the angels will visit you.”

“I wouldn’t think so. They all think I’m dead.” Cas propped herself on her elbows and looked around the room. “Where’s Sam?”

“He went to the library to look into the town history to see if there is some kind of case here before we move on.”

Cas nodded and yawned. “So, we’re looking for trouble now?” Cas sat up on the edge of the bed.

Dean smiled. “We had a whole week off. We get restless when that happens.” The two looked at each other silently for a minute. Dean could tell Cas wanted to say something but she was fighting for the words. She propped her feet on the mattress and wrapped her arms around her legs.

“Dean,” she was looking intently at the nightstand next to Dean, “I have a question…more of a request actually.”

“Okay.”

She bit her lip and looked at the ceiling. “There is still something I want to learn,” she looked down to her legs. She seemed to be looking for the right words and the courage to keep talking. “Something that, even as an angel, I never really knew.”

“What’s that?”

“A kiss.” She looked up then.

“Oh.” Dean thought back. “Right, because the only kiss you got was from Meg.”

“And she was a demon. Merely touching her disgusted me.”

“You didn’t seem too disgusted at the time.” Dean remembered. That kiss had been a part of his dreams for a while after that. He would never tell anybody that, but it had been hot.

Cas furrowed her brows and shook her head. “I was trying to imitate what I had seen. I was trying to feel what made so many humans hold the act in such high regard. But, I felt nothing but disgust with Meg. I thought that as a human it might be different. Everything feels so much different to me now. My sense of touch is much more sensitive and I didn’t care about Meg.”

Dean nodded. It sounded reasonable and if she had been anyone else Dean might have volunteered to show her personally, but this was Cas. He cared too much to just make out with her for no reason. “Alright, tonight I can take you to a bar and we’ll find you a nice guy…”

“No, Dean I’m not looking for a hook-up.” She looked at him like he was stupid for even thinking it. “I want to know what it’s like to be close and kiss someone I care about.”

“Okay, so we’ll find you someone who you could date and…”

“Dean,” she cut him off and shook her head, “are you trying to be difficult or are you really that dense?”

Dean looked confused. “What?”

Cas rolled her eyes. “Dean, I don’t want to go to a bar and meet a stranger. Come on.” Dean still looked confused and he shook his head. “Dean, I did so much over the last few years...for you. I fought by your side, I rebelled for you, I died for you, and I fell for you. I care more for you and your brother than anybody else in this world.”

Dean felt like he had been punched in the gut. He had always felt a lot for Cas too, loved Cas. He just found it hard to express that to the distant angel he had been. Now she was a human that was telling him how much she had done for him.

“Why do you think I came to you when I was in pain from Crowley’s pull? Why I always came to you? You mattered more to me than anything. From the first moment I pulled your broken soul out of Hell, till now.” Castiel was looking at Dean with all the emotion she felt running through her.

Dean stood and moved to Cas. He cupped her face. He could feel her shaking slightly. With one hand he tried to smooth down her crazy bed head. He smiled, “How did it take us so long to get here?”

Cas shook her head. “We’re both stubborn.”

“Yeah.” Dean leaned down and kissed Castiel. It was light at first. Cas seeming unsure about what to do and Dean not pushing it. But still Dean could feel the sparks passing between them. His heart raced. Cas learned quickly and reached forward to pull on Dean’s shirt. He fell to his knees and Cas opened her legs so he could move closer.

Dean wrapped his arms around Cas’ back and hugged her tight. Their lips locked together. Cas moved her hands to Dean’s hair, running her fingers through the locks that were growing out a little. She opened her mouth slightly, and bit Dean’s bottom lip lightly when it landed so perfectly in place for it. Dean moaned and broke the kiss to catch his breath.

“Damn Cas.” Her fingers were pulling at his hair. She leaned in and captured Dean’s lips in a fierce kiss. Dean held on and returned the kiss in kind. She pushed forward and ended up sliding off the bed and almost pushing Dean to the floor.

Dean sat on the floor and held on to Cas, who was now straddling him. He broke the kiss again. “Cas, calm down a little, we have time.” She was breathing hard, her forehead resting on his. She nodded. Dean ran his hands down her back.

“This is…” Castiel closed her eyes, “so much better than I thought it would be.” They both laughed. She moved her hands to rest on Dean’s shoulders. Dean moved forward and kissed her again. Her fingers held on to his shoulders and pulled him closer to her. He ran his tongue across her bottom lip. She gasped slightly and Dean took advantage and explored her mouth. He ran along the roof of her mouth. She moaned and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Heat was travelling up her neck. She had never felt anything like this. She wanted him closer and closer. She couldn’t get enough. Dean was growing warmer beneath her too. She moved slightly against his lap and felt him moan against her mouth. Just to be difficult, she did it again and felt Dean’s arm tighten. His head fell back.

“Cas, unless you want this to go way beyond kissing you should stop moving like that.” His voice was low and breathless. Cas liked how it sounded.

She grinded down on him again. “Like this?” She whispered into his ear.

Dean grunted and growled as he picked her up and stood. Her legs wrapped around his waist. He laid her down on the bed and fell along with her. “You asked for it.” Dean warned next to her ear. “You tease.” Dean kissed her neck just below her earlobe. She shuddered against him. He moved to her throat, leaving light kisses as he went. Her hands grabbed his hair again.

“Oh, Dean.” Castiel felt so overwhelmed. She wanted this, more than anything. She couldn’t believe it was happening. Dean’s warm hands ran up the front of her shirt. His fingers pulled the collar down slightly as he moved to kiss and suck her collarbone. Suddenly, Dean stilled. He lifted his head and looked toward the door. “Dean, what is it?”

He seemed to be listening. A car door closing told him all he needed to know. He sat up, “It’s Sam.” Dean pulled Cas up by her hand. “Come on.” Dean stood, pulling Cas along with him. He looked at her. She was red and breathing hard. Her hair was a mess. She looked like she had just had sex, it was beautiful. “How about you go compose yourself.” Dean pushed her toward the bathroom. She nodded and closed the door at the same time Sam opened the front door. Sam must have sensed the tension because he stopped mid stride.

“You okay?”

“Yeah, fine.” Dean could hear how out of breath he sounded. He probably didn’t look any better than Cas. Sam saw it too.

Sam smiled knowingly. “So, where’s Cas?” He feigned an innocent voice. Dean pointed to the bathroom. Sam nodded. “I can leave again if you want me to.” Sam pointed toward the door.

“No, don’t.” Sam held back a laugh at how worked up Dean looked. “It’s fine. Did you find anything?”

“I did actually. Just a few missing persons, it may not be our kind of thing but the pattern makes me a little suspicious.”

Dean nodded. “Sounds good.” He looked at the bathroom door. “Hang on a second.” Dean walked to the door and knocked on it. “Cas.”

“Just give me a minute Dean.”

Dean opened the door and slid inside. He saw Cas leaning on the sink with water running down her face. She must have tried to cool herself off. He shut the door and practically ran to her and grabbed her and pulled her in for a crushing kiss. She made a surprised sound but held his waist tight. The cold water felt good against his hands. He held the back of her head.

Her back hit the wall and Dean pressed against her. She moaned against him. Was he trying to kill her? “Dean,” she moaned. Her lips were still touching his, but not kissing. They breathed in each other’s air for a moment. She laid her head against his shoulder and laughed. Dean pulled her close in a hug and kissed the top of her head.

“Sam thinks there might be a case here.” Dean rested his chin on her head. “So let’s go see what’s going on.” He pulled back and gave her an intense look. “Then I can finish what I was teaching you.” Dean leaned forward and gave her one last quick kiss before pushing off the wall and moving to the door. He stopped and turned back. “So, whenever you’re ready.”

Dean smiled and left Cas in the bathroom looking worse than when she went in. Sam was sitting at the small table by the door. “Seriously dude, I can leave for a few hours if you two want to…”

Dean held up a hand. “Don’t worry about it Sam. It’s okay.”

Sam filled them both in when Cas finally came out of the bathroom looking a little more like herself. They decided to check it out.

The first day of investigating had not turned up much for the three. They pulled up to the motel around eleven. Once Castiel and Dean had entered the room, Sam stopped and said, “You know, I think I’m going to go see if I can find anything else on any of the missing people.”

“What, now? The library is probably closed.” Dean didn’t think his brother was that addicted to research.

“I know, but I have my ways of getting in. If I don’t find much, I’ll probably go out to that bar in town.” Sam picked up the Impala’s keys and nodded to the other two. “Don’t wait up for me.” He turned and quickly picked up his laptop and disappeared out the door.

Dean shook his head. Sometimes he really did love his brother. Castiel didn’t seem to understand what Sam was really doing. “Why is he researching more now? It seems a little pointless.”

Dean laughed. “He’s not researching Cas.” Dean turned to the woman. “He’s being a good little brother.” Cas tilted her head. Dean smiled, “He is giving us the night alone.” At that her eyes widened a little.

“Oh, I see.” She looked at the floor and walked towards Dean with a mischievous look. She didn’t stop moving until she was just a couple inches from Dean. “So how will we pass the time?” She smiled and ran a hand up his chest.

“Hmm, I wonder.” Dean closed the space between them and kissed Cas. She threw her arms around his neck. She had to stand on tip toes to reach him and leaned against him for balance. He pulled her face against him and deepened the kiss.

Within seconds they had ended up on the bed in the same position they were in this morning. Dean wasted no time with unbuttoning her blue dress shirt, kissing every spot of newly exposed skin before opening the next fasten.

He opened the shirt and took a moment to admire the beauty that was before him. Castiel was watching him with wide eyes turned dark with desire. Her skin was like a perfect porcelain doll. He leaned forward and kissed her stomach before licking a trail up the middle of her abs. Her muscles twitched beneath him. He looked up and locked eyes with her as he kissed her again. He licked a line back down to her bellybutton keeping eye contact the whole time. Cas made a strangled noise in her throat and pushed her head back into the pillow and closed her eyes.

“Cas, look at me.” Cas looked back. Dean slid back up and met her in a kiss, short and sweet. “Tell me if anything gets to be too much.” She nodded quickly. Dean kissed his way down her neck leaving tiny bites that made Cas keen and lean into him. He gently pushed the shirt off her shoulders and down her arms. Cas sat up a little to let Dean move the shirt. They met in another kiss.

Dean threw the shirt to the floor and started taking his jacket off. Cas took hold of the jacket and helped him pull the coat off. She threw it to land alongside her shirt before hooking a hand behind Dean’s head and pulling him down into a kiss. Cas brought her legs up to wrap around Dean and made him press against her.
He still had too much clothing on. She moved her hands to grab his t-shirt and tried to pull it up. When it didn’t move fast enough, she made a frustrated noise. Dean huffed a laugh into their kiss. He pulled away and sat up before pulling his shirt off over his head.

Cas reached up and dug her nails into his chest. Dean leaned down again to kiss along Cas’ chest and pushed her bra straps off her shoulder. He kissed where they had been. Cas fisted his hair and turned her head to take the shell of his ear into her teeth in a hard but quick bite. Dean jerked and let out a surprised breath. He did the same to her shoulder in return.

Castiel pushed Dean’s shoulders until he turned over, leaving her straddling him. His hands ran up her legs and settled on her butt. He gave her a squeeze. Cas put a hand on either side of Dean’s head and leaned down to kiss his full lips. Dean pushed up to meet her. She then moved down to his chest, mimicking what he had done to her. She kept eye contact the whole time. She kissed down to his stomach, running her nails down his sides. He trembled and let out beautiful, needy noises. Cas moved to his tattoo on his chest. She lightly traced the design with a finger before doing the same with her tongue. “Oh God, Cas.” Dean grabbed the sheets in a death grip.

Cas gave him a rough bite on his tattoo. Dean made a pained noise. “Don’t blaspheme Dean.” Her voice was rough and hard. Reminding him of the angel she had been. She leaned to whisper hotly in his ear, “If you want to say anything, just say my name.” She heard him take a shaking breath in. Her hand ran over his tattoo before she leaned down to give it one last kiss.

Dean watched Cas slither her way down his body and somehow maneuver herself between his legs. She kissed down till she met his jeans. She slowly removed his belt and pulled off his jeans. Kicking off her shoes and pulling his off as well, Cas returned and laid over Dean to give him a smoldering kiss. He held her tight and reversed their positions again.

They kissed each other breathless for a few minutes. They broke apart, foreheads touching. “Cas, you’re so beautiful.” Dean ran his thumb over her lips before kissing her again.

Soon her jeans came off as well and Dean lifted her up to straddle him. They kissed and pulled and gave little bites until Dean pulled her bra off and laid her back against the bed. Dean slid off his boxers and threw them to join the rest of their clothes. He rubbed Cas’ sides and kissed her a few times before gently pulling her underwear off.

He was ready, but Cas looked a little nervous. “Cas, you okay?” She nodded. “If you want to stop…”

“No, Dean please don’t stop now.” Cas pulled him closer and kissed him. “I need you Dean.” Her hand brushed
his chest as she reached down to take hold of him. He jumped a little in surprise. Her hand starting moving perfectly. Dean felt his knees tremble. Where did she learn to do that so well?

Dean moaned, “Oh, Cas.” He buried his head in her neck. His hot breath warming her already hot skin. His hips started jerking against her hand. With a shaking arm, Dean braced himself up and reached down with his other hand. He could feel Cas’ intense stare on him. He reached down between her legs and rubbed her firmly, but not too hard. Cas made a small noise and her hand faltered for a second.

She started moving against his hand and sped up hers. Both felt a hot sensation coil up inside them. They swallowed each others moans when their lips met in a sloppy kiss. When two of Dean’s fingers entered her, Cas threw her head back. “Dean!” Her hand stopped moving but her hips thrusted down harder.

God, Dean could come any second just watching Cas get off from his fingers. If she didn’t let go of him, he just might too. He gently removed her hand and pulled his hand away. She whimpered at the loss. “Shh,” Dean leaned down and kissed her softly, “hold on.” Dean leaned over and pulled out a condom from the side drawer and quickly put it on. He pulled Cas down a little and lined himself up. He kissed her again and slowly entered her.

Cas’ arms tightened around his neck. Dean moved slowly, not wanting to hurt her. Once fully inside, he waited a second. Both breathed and clung to each other. Then Dean started to move. He pulled back a little and pushed forward. Cas moaned and closed her eyes. He pulled back a little more next time and thrust a little harder. Cas was a little louder and wrapped her legs tight around him and pushed against him.

“Come on Dean.” She growled. He moved faster again and again. Cas met every move. Soon they were both moving with wild abandon. Cas reached up and braced herself on the headboard and pushed to meet Dean. He held her waist and pulled her into every thrust. Soon they could feel their orgasms closing in.

“Cas, Cas.” Dean kept chanting her name. She made noises that Dean never thought he would hear coming out of her. He pushed in again and must have hit her just right.

“OH, DEAN!” She screamed and dug her nails into his back. She thrust back to meet every move now faster than before. “So close Dean.”

Dean grunted, he was really gonna lose it if she said his name again. He thrust in again hard and was met with another scream. He felt his end near and reached down again to rub against her. “Come on Cas.” He kissed her neck and whispered in her ear. “Let go for me, Castiel.”

Like her name was a trigger, Cas tensed up and came with a shout of Dean’s name. Her body tightened around him and sent him over the edge. They both clutched together and rode out their release. They were gasping for air and sweating more than they had realized. Dean felt her grip loosen and she let go of him. Dean pulled out of her and discarded the condom. He pulled the covers up over them and wrapped Cas up in his arms. It was like moving a rag doll. She cuddled up to Dean and closed her eyes.

“So, did you get to experience everything you hoped you would?”

Cas hummed contently. “Yes.” She kissed his chest lightly. “I love you Dean.”

Dean felt his heart jump. “I love you too Cas.” He hugged her tighter and felt her drift off into sleep not long before he joined her.
