We saw Muse live last night! Came out stinking of beer, weed and sweat (oh the joy of rock shows), and I feel severely hungover this morning even though I didn't drink at all, but Muse put on a great show. There were lasers! And light effects! And video screens! And balloons! And sometimes all of that at once! Awesome :)
I love dramatic shows, and they certainly delivered, very in tune with the theatralics of their music. They played very few quieter songs, mostly the upbeat ones from the new album and a ton of the old classics that rock hard. I had a blast. Hysteria, Knights of Cydonia, Supermassive Black Hole, Starlight, Plug in Baby, Uprising, wow. This band sounds absolutely amazing live. And everything about them is so quirky, I love it.
I bought the tickets half a year ago as a thank-you to my brother for doing the music at my wedding. I don't get to hang out with him nearly often enough and I loved doing that together. We've been wanting to see Muse for a long time. He's hard to impress because he's seen (and played) so many concerts, but he loved it too.

Good times. Now the next concert that's coming up is Tokio Hotel...impress me, boys.
