You KNOW that I'll donate. I hate cancer in every possible way and I'd toss myself on a thousands knives if I knew it'd mean a cure.
I get paid tomorrow. Until then I'm overdrawn, but tomorrow you can count me in. My deepest sympathies to everyone who Matthew touched in his short life, yourself included.

And don't ever be ashamed for asking for money for a cause such as this. I hate to ask too - but once a year for Relay I become a nag. I won't bug people to buy things for Leila's school, or to buy girl scout cookies... but for cancer? I have no shame.
It's just so sad because it's a reminder that cancer affects everyone, all ages and backgrounds, from your fun-loving dad to just a little boy.
Katrina wasn't just his teacher, but mine as well, and she is such a warm hearted amazing person. I hope she manages to raise lots of money just like you did.
I will always set aside some money for you every year for Relay. Hopefully next year I'll be working and I'll be able to write you a bigger check. :)
