- 2008 round-up: I stopped keeping track after June last year. Maybe I'll be more conscientious this year?
- 2009 target: To just keep the list up to date lol.

Note: Not adding count to films I have watched previously, denoted with (pw).

What do you have to do for this, just see how many films you can watch and books you can read in a year? Do the books have to be fiction?

I used to do it to challenge records, but now it's mainly to keep track and share lists with friends.

Books can be anything, no rules except for the ones you set for yourself! Personally, I do not count magazines for books nor dramas for movies.

Ahaha, I'm stalking you because you replied to my comment.

ANYHOW, how did you find The Beach? I think it's bad, but I can't help but enjoy it for whatever reason. I love the videogame sequence hahaha.

HELLO MY BIGGEST STALKER peiyu January 18 2009, 11:54:57 UTC
The Beach was so... meaningless. It started out being all interesting, like how people go halfway round the world to watch telly and touristy things; no sense of adventure much, etc. But it lost its purpose along the way and got a bit blah. Maybe it had no purpose from the beginning, but eh, misleading! The videogame sequence was ADORABLE! You probably guessed it but the only reason I watched it was for Leo. FACEPALM MUCH.

I really, really, really liked Fight Club btw. It's possibly the best movie I have watched in a long time (tbh, I can't remember which movie I used to mention was a 'best' last year haha)

biggest? i don't think so! nutty_elf January 18 2009, 12:06:46 UTC
Why do you think I watched The Beach? ;)

Yay, btw I also recommend the novels that both movies were adapted from. As a book, The Beach is a whole lot better (though I can't remember it anymore) and Fight Club the novel is somewhat different from the film.

Btw I'll try and find the books at the library!

Anyway just recalled you told me to go watch Bourne Ultimatum last year but I haven't done it D: Esplanade has it so I'm all sorts of happy I'll get to finally watch it! Possibly a Bourne marathon if I can get all 3, since I watched Supremacy in 2004~~ OMG!! (that's 5 loooong years........)
