ODSP on PEI?

My mother, daughter and I are considering moving to Prince Edward Island from Southern Ontario. I have been receiving ODSP here in Ontario, due to a steel bar through my chest. I cannot work.
I am wondering what the income support amount would be for someone in my circumstances? I have read that PEI does not have disability income support. Only a support program offering other assistance. Apparently the income support comes from the social assistance program?
I am wondering if the amount I could receive from the social assistance program would come close to what I receive here in Ontario? I receive $1520.00 a month here. It is barely enough to live on.
What else would be good to know, when considering a move such as this? Is it expensive to live on PEI?
