Kibichuo-cho
I know I promised you all pictures, but unfortunately I do not have internet yet in my apartment. Right now I'm mooching off a friend in a cafe. ^-^
Not too much to report yet. My apartment is small, cute and livable. The views surrounding it are breathtaking and the bugs are altogether HUGE and GROSS. Only three dead cockroaches so far. There are more, but I have deployed 5 packs of traps/poison. I'm very grateful my bed is up off the ground.
I have gotten to visit a traditional village, that was fun, participated in traditional indigo dying, that was stinky, and completed a round flower arrangement, totally disregarding the traditional rules (it rocked!). I haven't been able to acquire a goldfish yet, but I do have a small plant and some cactuses to decorate my kitchen with.
For those of you on face book, I have joined. Don't get your hopes up though, I haven't been able to put up any pictures there either, it's going to have to wait until I can use my computer.
Classes are starting in a week. Wish me luck!.
