I woke up with a pounding headache and sick stomach, which led to coffee, and the revelation that there was no power in the den. The den holds the wireless router.
I played with the breakers. I unplugged everything in the room and played with them some more. I woke my parents, got a shower, Dad put in a new breaker switch and played with the breakers.
Still nothing.
Now we're playing with the outlets, have moved three bookshelves and a desk, are arguing about what can go in recycling and what is to be put in the attic, all my things from my closet are on my bed until at least Wednesday, I have to rearrange my room for a new chair and ottoman while leaving the windows easy access for the new installations, and we have to cart our old furniture out for Goodwill.
All this means new paint and scraping the ceiling, and an extension cord from the dining room to the wireless router.
It has not been a good day. I still have things I need to do, including paying bills, abusing the finance people at school, and filling up my gas tank. And gas has gone up to 2.39.
