I just found out yesterday that Calle Ocho on the UWS has a free unlimited, self-serve SANGRIA BAR all day on Sundays. Six different flavors of sangria, each more free than the last. Why was I not told before now???

The food is tasty, too, and not too expensive. My GF and I each had a hearty entree (I took 3/4 of mine home), free fancy Latin bread, and like three glasses of sangria a piece for $27.00, with tax, for both of us combined. Thanks, brunch!

i've passed by that place more than once, and it looks pretty big inside, so i can have a large group over..which is good. :)

it's a definite almost yes for calle ocho.

but let me get this straight - the unlimited sangria is a separate price from the entree, right?

The sangria is, unbelievably enough, f-r-e-e FREE. They mean it, too!
