uncomfortable undergarments
I have a new favorite phrase.
"They've got their panties in a bunch."
I've started using it since I began theology this quarter. This is my general attitude towards the many issues we discuss.
Today we talked about whether or not the bible was inerrant. It used to be where it wasn't even a debate but apparently some people got their "panties in a bunch" and decided to go looking for "errors" in the bible. Like mathematical errors because of a failure to use "pi." Like the uproar about how a mustard seed isn't scientifically the smallest seed around. Because of these situations, the bible MUST not be entirely true.
I roll my eyes.
Here are a list of topics we've discussed in class that I attribute to PIAB Syndrome:
election vs. free will
head coverings
dispensationalism in its entirety
Anyway, I think my brother and his contingency of card-carrying 5 point Calvinists might come with their... ;)
