So today marked the last ACT show of the season, and with it, the end of my career as an ACT employee (at least in the foreseeable future). It's so interesting to think of the differences in The Way Things Ended Then (after high school) and The Way Things Ended Now. I mean - HUGE difference. Then it was out of control crying and sobbing and oh-god-how-can-things-be-ending-and-changing-so-fast. And now... well there was no fanfare. It was literally like a scene from a movie, where the protagonist has learned the lessons of growing up. I walked out of the school alone, to my car... I got in, and drove away. All the kids had gone and only a couple of them seemed to notice that this was Goodbye. Or whatever.
Seriously, weird.
Growing up is out of control bizarre.
remember when?
