a quickie because it's been a while:
1. moved into a place for the summer,there will be an update on roommates when i get the chance. needless to sat summer will be interesting
2. did in fact not fail out of college this year. still there, going strong....in fact nows a good time to check my grades.
side-note on "grades": I am very pleased with what I got out of my evaluations, my adviser, who I had a class with, said I was a designer of real promise and basically sang my praises. my acting teacher, though i had a sincerely rough time with him and he completely gave me a shitty evaluation, actually said i had moments of genius when acting (he also said they were few and far between). I expected bull crap from him though, he was a hard ass and had he not been maybe i would have been substancially more comfortable and thus less anxious and thus better in his class. my other teacher who i adore and loved having as a teacher gave me a completely reasonable and pretty much good evaluation. all of them talked about my time management issues which i also expected and am working on so all in all i say i did okay, even good. now i just have to take all the advice and go with it. yay for me.

6.qotd: how old is too old?
I've been hearing a lot....and by that i mean i know a girl or two who does this a lot about girls around my age (often a little younger 18-19 )dating or just sleeping with dudes that are almost old enough to be their fathers like usually in their late late 30's. i'm usually OK with it but i often can't help but be slightly ill at ease when actually confronted with such a couple. it just looks weird. i wonder what is this 30 year old man doing hanging out with this 19 year old person all the time. what could you possibly have in common...and a host of other related thoughts. then i realize that they could have plenty of things in common and age isn't at all an indicator of common interest. but its still hard to wrap my head around and it even harder fro me not to judge these persons as creeps, even when theyre probably perfectly nice people, my guard is up. what do you think? i want to know, so just go ahead and comment or ill marry you off to crazy old George, he's my neighbor, hes like 90 and you're definitely his type.
