so reall y quick recap of the last few days...
Saturday:
Fest was fun and not as cold as I had thought, so I ended up really bummed that I didn't wear the Venetian, esp. b/c

phoenix_dress looked so beautiful. I couldn't believe blue the color of C's gown- the photos just don't do it justice & L's deep rose is so pretty against her skin-they both looked yummy!
I was a bit irked with Joe for leaving early, esp. since A) it was supposed to be how we were celebrating our anniversary & B) he got to see Vilification Tennis, but didn't ask me what I wanted to see. We talked about it later and he didn't know why he needed to leave, but he did. I stuck around and my parents dropped me off on the way home, but I really didn't get to spend as much time with

I also got my new cloak cut after I got home. It's got some funcky piecing of the velvet, but that's ok w/ me.
Sunday:
Worked at the box office & when I got home, I got the velvet and the lining together for the cloak and I discovered something. For C & N's wedding I bought a piece of rayon burnout velvet and a piece of silk & rayon burnout velvet. I planned to wear the silk one for the wedding, but I'd have the other for the future and as a practice. Well, I got them cut last week and I was using scraps (than heavens) to see how the rolled hem function on my serger was going to work & discovered that it is going to. All the stiched just pull out. Now I need to find time to hand roll the hems!
Monday:
worked all day at box office, left for a couple of hours and then returned for box office monthly meeting.
and that's about it, for now.
