Long Weekend, What What!
All weekends should be three days.
I went on an unplanned, but epic, cleaning spree last night. I'm not sure what got into me, but by the end of it the dogs had both had baths (and were pissed at me) and I'd moved my home office from the spare bedroom upstairs to the corner of the dining room downstairs. Also, I mopped. This is what happens when the regular TV Season ends, I guess?
I was able to move my office because I finally got a reliable WiFi that's easy to manage (Cisco Valet, if you're wondering). I read somewhere that changing location was a good remedy to writer's block. It's working so far - I wrote like 600 words in this morning's 30 minute sprint and actually liked what I wrote. I wasn't necessarily blocked before, but I was vaguely unhappy with my last story and un-motivated about the J2 I'm writing now.
Aside from random cleaning sprees, June also starts the summer of downloading massive amounts of long Big Bang fic to my Kindle to read. YAY!!! My story posts on June 28th. I think it just needs one more good edit, some html'ing, and it'll be good to go.
RE Supernatural, it looks like a couple of the new writers for SPN next year write for The Thrilling Adventure Hour. It's an interesting connection. I'm not familiar with their other work, but what I know of the Thrilling Adventure Hour, it's a lot of fun. I have no idea of what this means for show, maybe nothing.
The last couple of con reports have been awesome. So much J2 goodness. Oh, boys!
My mind today, is pretty much flittering around like this post. I expect the boss to call "liberal commuting policy" and send us all home any time now....come onnnnn.....
