An online journal, now there's a concept. Journals by definition are private things, a place to contemplate a world that we're all trying to make sense of. So why go public with things we wouldn't let our children read? Is it the catharsis? Being known? Could it be as simple as that? Just to have people, see our thoughts, validate our importance to our own little world of influence? Maybe. Maybe it is as simple as just reaching out, to have people accept us without being seen. To be valued for our words, our emotions, our thoughts, not how we look, or how much money we have, or the fancy car we drive. Here, we are all equal and each person can be whatever they want to be.
For me, that is the most important thing.
