Family can be the most annoying thing in the world. I mean am I alone in this assumption? One phone call can bring a shitstorm of pain just because I want to forgive someone and the rest of the family wants to get apoplexy over me being in contact with them. All of us have made mistakes over time, all of us have been forgiven and brought back into the fold. So why this one? Why is their sin so unforgivable that they cannot be taken back? It just makes no sense to me. Sure there was a lot of pain, but it is on both sides. No one is 100% right or wrong, so where does family loyalty come in? Am I just THAT naive that I think it's okay to forgive and at least talk to a person? I just don't get it, and maybe I never will.
