Went diving again today. Totally awesome dive. I'm really getting the hang of it. My boyancy is the best it has ever been. its still not perfect, but come on I haven't even done 30 dives yet. :P I'm very proud of myself.
Got sea sick, again. :( Switching to pills tomorrow. Called the second dive, again. I couldn't get my right ear to clear. :~( Same thing that happened to me on my third dive in Bonaire. So perhaps its a timing thing. If it is at least I know I'll be ok tomorrow. And thats the dive that will count the most.
MANTA MANTA MANTA!!!!!!!
After dinner and some shopping tonight we walked over to the Sheridan. They have some nice lights shining into the water and a few mantas show up there. Which is awesome. There were 5 mantas there tonight. The only bad part is the area where the mantas are is a little far away. At least too far away for my crappy dc600 to pick them up well in the dark. I did take a few blurry photos. But tomorrow night I will be up close and personal. And will just be taking video because I really just don't have any way to capture such a large creature with my camera on still mode. So I'll take some vid and our captain is trying to make sure we have a professional videographer there so we can buy a dvd. I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!
So the dive today. I got to swim through my 1st arch, so pretty! I saw several nudis (scrambled egg and strawberry) and an awesome fire worm. Also very pretty. Lots of different kinds of eels and a teeny tiny crab living in the mouth of a black sea cucumber. Which our dive master took out and put on my hand. He crawled all over me and was soooo cute. Black with little white spots. Oh saw a neat Ghost Shrimp and a flounder. Dean got to see lots of turtles on the 2nd dive. I'm going to see if perhaps we can go back down to Place of Refuge on Wed or Thursday and go snorkeling there or do a beach dive since we know there are lots of turtles there and I want to see one up close for once IN the water. ;)
ok I'm really tired so I think I'm going to sleep.
