Chicago = Gotham City
Fun Trivia knowledge.
While touring the city of Chicago with Adrianna and Diane I saw many gothic architecture mixed in with the modern industrial city scape. To my pleasant surprise the girls informed me that much of Batman was filmed in Chicago and I think Spiderman also took footages of the city for their backdrops. I couldn't agree more that Chicago does feel like Gotham City would. I can imagine it being cold, grey, grungie, and filled with corrupt politics. Luckily during my visit all 4 days were sunny and magnificent. :D
Not only was it an awesome city I was in Gotham. <3 Batman!!!
