Ok, lately I've been obsessing on McKeller and how much I just don't like it. I've only seen a few stories that have her as a rounded character, and the only story that I actually LIKE her in is Keira Marco's "What Might Have Been" series--which is McShep, but has Keller in love with someone & an awesome person.
That being said, I keep imagining Keller as a devious little girl who is just out to get her own way...Possibly even purposely getting with Rodney when she knows he and John have potential--maybe she even threatened John a bit to back off. (Poor John!)
Other Keller Evil-ness: (feel free to ignore these--I'm in a bashy-mood when it comes to Keller...)
Or maybe she broke them up, and is all thrilled to be picked over John, and mentions it to Teyla--something like "I'm glad Rodney has given up his farce with John. It's not like they could be together in the open, and I CAN give him babies. He's just got to shape up a little more. At least he's stopped spending time with John. That was geting really irritating! I'm glad John understood that he needs to back off before rumors get him fired."
Or maybe she's bonding with Jeannie--and she not only mentions things she shouldn't "the colonel really should know better at his age--[insert medical problem]." and Jeannie is a little taken back, but figures "John's practically family." (and right then Madison rushes in with her dad--and when told Uncle Mer is here, she asks about Uncle John. Keller buts in that he had to stay on atlantis, or maybe visit his family [i'm his family! he promised me.] and Madison is polite and says hello, but doesn't call Jennifer "Aunt"--calls her Miss Jennifer.)
And then Madison & Caleb leave the room, and we hear Rodney berading Caleb or something and Jennifer is all "I"m working on making him more humble--he's not quite there yet, but there's some time. We won't be able to move back to wisconsin (or wherever she's got her heart set on) for at least 6 months. (blah, blah blah, she prattles on & on, dissing rodney and others)
OR where Jennifer threatens John, and ronon hears as john tells her "rodney is worth more than my career" and she replies "yes, but what about your LIFE? Or HIS? Rumor gets out, someone could decide to hurt you two--i'm sure i could save him, but you would probably protect him and I doubt you'd make it. how sad, Rodney will need my help to get past that...I'll take good care of him. as long as you don't make this difficult." and ronon is PISSED. he goes to Teyla. She has a hard time believing it--and they figure they need proof, and since John has headed to Earth mysteriously, they can't ask him. so they go to zelenka. radek hacks the video feed, and woah! but rodney finds out. and lorne too? How would they take care of Jennifer, since she'll make a huge stink if she doesn't get her way? What if John headed to Earth to see how likely he could come back to Atlantis if he was allowed to retire. maybe he lays it down for O'Neill??
The team finding out John is gay/bisexual:
I suppose that's enough for now, but I've also got John Sheppard in San Francisco at a sex club, being tracked by his team who think there's some foul play when he's not at his brother's place like he told Lorne he'd be. And of course, they track him down as he's tied up and such with MEN, which they never knew. They go in as if he's been kidnapped, and extract him from the place before he has a chance to stop them, and then he's pissed, takes them back to the hotel room he's got and explains stuff--after asking them WTF?
Clone O'Neill and the Mystery of John's ATA gene:
(This one's been done a couple of times, in a few ways, but this is how I see it happening:)
Also, there's the one where John Sheppard is Jack O'Neill's love child from the team's trip to 1969, but we find this out when John and clone!O'neill are in the same accident, and the forensic evidence show's a parental relationship, and someone then mentions to John about his "son" and John goes in, totally surprised, because he would have been all of 17, and he doesn't remember the girl who is listed on the birth certificate at all! So he & Rodney go in, and Rodney (who is totally John's lover) is ranting a bit about John being a slut and starting his whoring young and such, and mini!Jack wakes up and scowles at Rodney saying something like "Didn't we give you to the Russians? Don't tell me I'm in Siberia?"
Can't you just see it:
Rodney: OMIGOSH! You're the clone! O'Neill's Asguard clone--but if you're the clone & there's a paternal relationship, then John isn't your father--you're his, or well, O'Neill is. But how? The time travel to 1969? O'Neill you dog, you! Wow, I guess your mom was kinda slutty too, huh? Well, at least you come by it honestly.
And John and Clone!Jack (who goes by Jon) are gaping at him.
And Jon (the Clone, if you haven't been folowing closely) says, "You mean Marilyn?"
John: No! No way! My life is wierd, but it can't be that wierd! Leave my mom out of it both of you!
