2) Danny did NOT have a warrant to go into that house. Which means anything that they found there is inadmissible in a trial! STOP DOING THIS TO ME SHOW! YOU BREAK MY LAWYER BRAIN!
LOL, it always makes me twitch as well, and I'm not a lawyer! I doubt they had a warrant for the chiropractor's office either. I have to just tell myself that he got the warrant off-screen and just go with it.
I've also been fascinated with the as to now unseen Mysterious Rachel. I loved her as well. I thought she was a perfect complement to Danny. I can completely see Rachel being a stereotypically reserved Brit in her manner until Danny's assertiveness pushes her into losing her cool.
The point about not having a support system due to her family being in England is a good one. It couldn't have been easy for her.
I definitely think the divorce between Danny and Rachel was more about not being able to live within the circumstances Rachel found herself in and not because she woke one day and decided she was no longer in love with Danny. In fact, you could speculate that she loved (loves?) him too much. She may think to protect herself and Grace by putting distance between them so should something happen to Danny, it would have less of an impact on them, since he wasn't around all the time.
I do think we'll find out more as the season progresses. I think Steve is a curious as we are!
I loved the scene at the end with Danny and Grace. Until now we've seen Danny picking up Grace or Grace going out to the car to meet her mother. It's possibly been a while since Rachel saw Danny and Grace interact and it had to move her to see the obvious love and affection between father and daughter.
