Brrrr!

The temperatures are starting to drop more and more. I'm glad I stocked up on long sleeve shirts for Gavin. He'll be wearing them more often now. This weekend the forecast highs aren't even going to hit 60°. When you're used to 70+° that seems cold. The house is sitting at 69°, I'm wearing long sleeves, and I still feel cold. It's probably because the sky is rather cloudy. It's supposed to be raining when Gavin gets out of school this afternoon.

When he gets home from school (and Zander is gone for the day) I need to see about him signing some more Christmas cards. Hubby got him to sign some last night while I was making dinner. If he signs a few more tonight and tomorrow night we can have them out in the mail this weekend.

Holiday gift shopping is almost done. Hubby is determined to get a different present for his brother than we originally bought so I'll have to order it online soon as it isn't available in stores near us. We've got a thing or two left to pick up for Gavin.

I've been looking for something special for hubby online, but I've only found one of it (on ebay) and the shipping is ridiculous so I think I may go with something else. My biggest problem with shopping for hubby is I have to think of things that weren't on the Christmas lists that we gave to family members. Mindy mentioned what they had gotten for hubby, but I didn't write it down because I didn't want him to find it and now I can't remember what she said. Nate won't tell me, so I stuck with coming up with new ideas.

I shouldn't complain much. Unlike hubby, I can go shopping for him whenever I want to. He's going to have to make/take time on one of his days off to go since he's on nights and hasn't done his shopping for me yet. I know this because he hasn't pulled cash so I don't see where he uses his check card since I keep the checkbook. Reminds me I need to balance it.

I'm gonna see about fixing me something warm to drink. Hopefully that will take the chill out of my bones.
